Safety Glasses with Rx Inserts

Safety Glasses with Rx Inserts. This section contains Safety Glasses and Goggles that have prescription inserts available, commonly called Rx Inserts. These Rx Inserts are designed to be filled with your prescription and then installed behind the primary lens of the safety eyewear. All of the styles listed in this section are ANSI Z87.1-2015 certified and provide 99.9% protection from harmful UV light.
Using Safety Glasses with Rx Inserts can save you money and provide more protection than traditional safety glasses with side shields. Plus when the primary lens becomes worn or scratched over time, you can just buy a replacement lens or frame without having to purchase new prescription lenses. They can also be useful as a backup for contact lens wearers in case they need to remove their contacts due to irritation.
Note: All Rx Inserts have limitations on the strength of the prescription they can accommodate. Please review the information on each Rx Insert as models will vary, sometimes by a wide margin. We recommend consulting your local optician before purchasing so they can verify that they can craft your desired lenses.
