Not Good at UV Blocking

A UV A/B flashlight shining thru these side shields lights up a bright stripe on a $20 bill. Same trick with every pair of eyeglass or sunglasses I own blocks that light. Please share the UV blocking specs.

Thank you for your review. The Safety Optical B-26 Side Shields are made from polycarbonate, which naturally blocks UV light up to 380 nm. If your UV flashlight produces UV light above 381-400 nm, that light will pass through polycarbonate. Many sunglasses use UV400 polycarbonate lenses, which is why they block the light in your flashlight test. Please contact us if you have any questions.
