The MCR Safety 28550 Welding Goggles provide excellent peripheral protection for all your light welding applications. The dual stationary round lens has a scratch-resistant coating and offers dual Filter 5.0 protection. Vents located above and below the lens allow for proper ventilation to help reduce fogging. A comfortable and easily adjustable elastic strap ensures a secure fit every time.

*NOTE - Welding Safety Glasses and Goggles using Shade 5 filters or lighter are not intended for arc welding, which requires a darker lens found in Welding Helmets (OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.252 lists the minimum lens shade requirements for a variety of welding operations).

MCR Safety 28550 Welding Goggle Green Frame Round Stationary 50mm Lenses IR Shade 5.0 Filter

These lenses have a green shade much like my night vision Google from the army only they are so efficient and made for light to medium welding with ip to 60-80 amp power adjustment on welders. They fit good and very cost efficient. It would be nice to get these to slightly widen or contract like binoculars. The bridge fit is better on the glasses but it does great at blocking bright light with the perfect shade. Can be worn anytime and anywhere.
